ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES (OAS)

Green Compass assisted the Organization of American States (OAS) General Secretariat Building secure financing to install a renewable energy project without upfront investment. Green Compass collaborated with Honeydew Energy Advisors to manage a competitive bid for a solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), which allows the OAS to install a 214.4 kW net metered solar system that generates over 280,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually, reducing the building's carbon footprint by 196 metric tons. The installation was completed by New Columbia Solar and started producing renewable electricity and cost savings in 2020.

New Columbia Solar is very excited to partner with The Organization of American States. Our mission is to make it as easy as humanly possible for D.C. residents and businesses to benefit
from solar energy.
